hey karen..
they give u pain killers, I didnt want t3's so i got ibuprofen 300mg.
I went into the office at 2 and i left at 2:44. the actual pulling and stitching only took 10-15 minutes. Mine came out very smoothly.
I have no clue how much it would cost if u had to pay from your own pocket.
U can go get it done at the dental school by HSC and its usually very cheap there cause its a student doing it.

yeah i heard about the dental school thing...

yeah t3s dont work at all for me..
when i got my tonsils out last year i was eating 2 every 2 hours... i should have overdosed at that rate.. but absolutly nothing happened.

how long is the recovery period?

recovery is different for everyone. Some peopel are on there asses for many many days after having it done, some peopel are in major pain for a long time. -Usually- about a week.
I have been fine though and have been eating regular food since yesturday. Havent really needed to take n e pain killers. Stitches are already coming out and it looks like its already healing nicely.

But ya, like i said, different for everyone.

The only way to get a rough idea of how much it would cost is to call some offices and ask.

i had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled last year... on the friday b4 may long weekend... hehe... but the next day i was eating a pita... although... i had to bend forward and look at the ground while i ate so i didn't use my back teeth... hehe...

it was quite funny... i was really out of it right after the surgery thing... from the morphine / demerol whatever anaesthetic they give you... haha... i was s'posed to be done in a certain timme and josh came to pick me up... and the lady told him to come back in another 45 min cuz i was still really out of it...

hope you feel better... after awhile chewing will be all good again....
