Your relationship with Candice truly seems special. I can say I understand how you feel, but I don't. You've lost a best friend, and perhaps someone you thought of as the closest non-blood relative to you. I haven't had to go through this to say I can understand how you feel or what's going through your mind. However, what I can tell you for sure is that there's things in life that happen, and all we can say is "Why?" Why did over 52,000 (and more to be added to that number) die two days ago? Why did NFL legend Reggie White die two days ago? Why did Candice go two days ago? I think it's our goal, whether we're her best friend, like in your case, or someone who knew her as a classmate, in my case, or a relative (in the case of her family), it's our goal to continue life and try to prevent the "Why?" moments. That's what these guys would want of us. Candice was always someone who had a smile on her face. Maybe we can do something to carry that through in life. People always recognized her smile.
