Man, you guys are great. All it takes is a simple outpouring of soul from me to remind me how much I love you guys. Ah, if only all things in life were so simple

I was already gearing up for an "OMG OMG OMG ZEEEEEEELDA!" rant before I even got to the last sentence. XD Ocarina of Time is, I think, my favourite. That really only got called into question with Windwaker. Which I still need to finish, because I had a problem with my plugs melting (the monitor was literally like 20 years or so old, and shorted) when I was right near the end
( ... )
Lol, good :P Ocarina was definately among the greatest video games I have ever played. What a masterpiece. I'm sorry about Windwaker; that's a PAIN. Mrrr, I don't have a Gamecube or a DS...or even an N64 or SP, for that matter. I've never had a gaming console aside from my gameboy. That might just be solved in college, ehehe. That was an excellent rant, Shivvy! You can out-rant them all. Maaaan I want Twilight Princess...
Why, thank you, Jammie! *takes a bow* As for the plugs thing, N64 and Gamecube take the same plugs, so I just have to swap them now I have the old little tv. Which is annoying (the plug swapping, I mean) but it could be worse!
Speaking of emulation, you can actually try quite a few Zeldas on it. Aside from the first gameboy one-- which I assume you've played?-- and the two oracle games, there's A Link To The Past (super nintendo), or it's re-released form The Four Swords (gameboy advance) and The Minish Cap (gameboy advance). I really like Link to the Past, and The Minish Cap is quite cute too. The cap talks to you! Like Navi.
(Also, though it will still be unaffordable for many a year, the Wii has backwards compatability for the Gamecube and can emulate the N64, the SNES, the NES, the Sega-- Megadrive? and some Turbo-thingy I've never heard of. If you pay to download the games onto it, I think.)
Yesss, I got Link to the Past, but instantly got hopelessly stuck and frustrated. Okay, so I go to the Village Elder's house out to the east and he tells me to get a pendant from...somewhere? I don't know what to do. GRRR. I just can't stand action games where I don't know what to do. Which is ironic, as I have painstakingly worked my way through the insane puzzles of the six Myst games and the two Uru expansions without this problem :P I want the Minish Cap. I'm sure I could find a ROM of that somewhere.
O.O A Zelda...where Link transforms into a wolf. *spontaneous nosebleed*
It may just beat Ocarina of Time for that reason alone.
I agree with Majora's Mask being confusing with the time switch and the owl statues and stuff. I didn't find that one as entertaining as Ocarina of Time, mostly because Link is a kid the whole time and there's not as many sidequests. And really... I play games for the sole purpose of sidequestdom.... Though all the masks are a sidequest. Still... not the same. It would have been cooler if you could play as scary demonized Link the whole time, but you can only be him during boss battles. *grumble*
The fact that I haven't upgraded my game consoles for fricken forever will not help me in my want for wolf-Link. Still have an N64 and a PS1.... *lesigh*
Yeah, spontaneous nosebleeding was pretty much my reaction too :P
Mostly what irritates me in Majora is that you'll be doing a quest and just /happen/ to take a little too long trying to find little side things out, and then you run out of time and have to start all over again. GRRR. Not as entertaining as Ocarina, but I do enjoy transforming and going swimming around as a Zora or rolling around with CRAZY SPIKES OF FIREY MAGIC DOOM as a Goron. Muaha. At the moment I'm up to the watery temple, and have yet to meet 'demonized' Link.
*snug* Thank yoooou! Will do. Awww, Braden is cute. And so are the masks. I LOVE rolling around in the grass as a Goron, but I love riding around on Epona even more, although it's slower.
I never liked Zelda that much. Maybe becauseI could never get passed the stupid level where you had to get that Golden Sword. Or at least, I think that's what you had to get. I watched my brother rescue the Princess. Just like I watched him defeat Scar on the Sega. xP Though, I did that once with his help.
At first I really didn't like Zelda. It was confusing, and I would completely freak out when monsters would pop out of the ground at you. So I would just spend hours in town cutting grass to make money and then playing the minigames. Needless to say, I wouldn't get very far in the game...

P.S. I hate grammar, especially 'its' and 'it's'.
