He takes a deep breath, savouring the crisp air and the warmth of the sun on his face and the feel of the wet snow seeping through his jeans.

Oh, that's perfect. I'm glad Cam finally reached his destination after such a long, sad journey. *sniffles*

Great, great story, but now I'm off to find something with puppies and rainbows. :-)

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

I must admit, I'm rather relieved that apocalypse_kree is mostly over and cheerful holiday fic season is coming up. It'll be a nice change.

This was fantastic in a heart-rending way: I love how hard it is for Cam to stop moving and let go. Thank you!

Thank you! Cam always struck me as a man of action, so I think just stopping would be really hard for him.

Glad you liked it.

Amazingly well written and a pleasure. But, then, I'm a John/Cam fan!

I loved this immensely!

Thank you!!

This is beautifully written. The back story is just enough to feel the bleakness of his life and the loneliness, and the ending leaves me with a combination of sadness and hopefulness.

Thank you! I'm very glad you liked it. (It was rather depressing to write, too.)
