Draco is walking down the corridor by himself with his head hung low. He just left the library. He tried to study, but all he could think of was Millicent and that mess that Pansy pulled. He sighs at the hopelessness of it all.
He can hear the sound of feet on the floor somewhere nearby, but he doesn't care. He doesn't even bother to look up.

Should I stop?
"Hello," Millicent greets him softly, her voice shaking with nervousness.

He finally looks up at her without showing and ounce of emotion.
He doesn't say anything. He just looks at her.
I guess I'm in for it again.

"Can I talk to you?" She asks timidly.

Talk? What could she possibly want to talk about?
After a few minutes of mentally taking her apart he decides to speak.
"Talk to me? Or yell at me?"

He sits down on the love seat and then gestures for her to sit next to him.
He still can't get a handle on all of this. Hes scared that he's dreaming.
For the past two weeks his slumber has been haunted by her face.
"I'm still scared, Millicent."

"I know, and I'm sorry. I'll never let someone else bring us apart like that again," she apologizes.
She looks around the room, quite glad that Pansy's not around. The girl may have apologized, but now she has to pay.

He touches her face. More for making sure that it's real than from affection. Not that he isn't glad that she's there.
