But i think you know what i'm talking about. I can remember the disallusionment when people started calling "Such Great Heights" an Iron & Wine song, shortly after he covered it for an M&Ms commercial

there were a couple of indie kids at TJs the other night. you know the types....boys in girlpants, girls with skunk-striped hair and torn jeans, and cigarettes being stubbed out in jam containers. (not to mention, very poor tipping.) and all that OH-SO-snobbish-yet-casually-disheveled attitude!

it reminded me that there is nothing redeemable about "indie rock," and by that i mean both the MySpace perversion of the term and by the continued existence of lou barlow.

call me an idealist, but everybody needs to listen to REALICIDE and mellow way the heck out.
