Felix seems all right. Mostly. He's now sitting in the library, reading, just as usual. The only difference being that he can't stop playing with his rings, and he jumps at small noises. It helps that it's inside, and all the lights are blazing, with one hovering over his head for good measure - it's probably the first time he's been alone for any

Phedre is going to be nearby, reading a book, giving him a glance once in a while.

She remembers him - she was fidgetty, that day, and treated him poorly. Perhaps an apology would be in order.

If she can bring herself to it.

Oh, that's nice... and it summons a brighter smile from Phedre, who does enjoy courtliness a great deal.

"And you've been well, Felix?" Eyes sparkling, now, because he makes her feel special, and that's always nice.

"I have been well enough, thank you," an easy lie - he's not going to mention all that mess - "And I hope you can say the same?"

"Of course," the lie is flawless as well. "You look well enough, indeed."

He looks fidgety, is what he looks like.

Oh, he is fidgety. Definitely. And not particularly good at lying, either, for the flicker in his eyes. "That is good."

She nods, smiling softly. "Would you care for a walk with me, Felix?"

[skewedeyes]

A smile. "Certainly." As long as we stay far away from the woods.

So Phedre will wait for him to offer his arm, and smile sweetly.

"I am glad."

He does offer his arm, with a little bow. "You are welcome."

[phedre_25]

She takes it, slipping a graceful hand in that hook.

"To the lake, perhaps?" A simple offer, and she's flexible - very.

He tenses immediately. "No." Automatically blurted, and then he takes a deep breath and quickly smooths his expression. "Not today, I don't think."

"Anywhere else you wish is fine, Felix." Soothingly.

But she makes a note of it.

He tries to think of the layout of the Mansion, staying away from the trees.

"The gardens, perhaps?"

[phedre_25]

"If you wish," she replies amiably.

[skewedeyes]

"Or is there somewhere you would wish to go?"

[phedre_25]

"The gardens are well," she replies with a smile. "It will be a nice change of pace."
