Sketchy sketches

I've been doing a lot of very loose sketches in my small moleskine cahier with the thin paper - there's something very light and non-serious about working in it which completely passes over the horror vacui, or however one spells that, of the blank page (most artists I've talked to know this feeling).

the greens and yellows and reds are amazing in that first sketch. (and these all really make me want to stop being an idiot and just sit down with my sketchbook somewhere and draw what i see.)

Colour is fun! I used to be terrified by it, but having each colour contained in its own, capped pen is efficiently removing the anxiety, heh.

Yes, sketch! I'll send you one of these little pocket sketchbooks if you like - I have a little pile of them lying around that I got to send to friends. :)
