This has to be the funniest health update I've ever read - I'm glad to see that whatever hits the Far islands has taken, the humour of its denizens remains unaffected (and that the recovery of neighbouring Mère continues, aided by relief efforts). I hope you're on the road to recovery soon...sounds like its been a winter your immune system would prefer to forget!

It would be a sad, sad day if the humour resources of the Far islands dried up entirely! (Bad enough that the humoral resources are greatly depleted...).

Aw, I feel sorry for laughing at the apparently awful state of your health. It's so delightfully tongue-in-cheek, though! I think all biologists should give health updates like that.
