GUH I love your writing so much. This is like... a perfect story. I loved it. Hurt/comfort is one of my favorite things =D

(I am greedy though. I want more of Lucky Boys! *pouts*)

Aww, thank you so much! Hurt/comfort is so fun to write, especially when it involves ragey John.

Hopefully I shall have more Lucky Boys written soon! My life has become a bit hectic what with school starting again, but hopefully I'll find some more time to write.

Oh I LOVE this! I always knew Buddy Holly's death must have been quite a blow, but I never thought about it in quite that way, that it would trigger that feeling of abandonment in John that always lay right below the surface. And I love that you used Paul as a counter to that, in Paul reassuring John that HE will never leave. ^_^

Just all around great writing. I like your Mimi as well, by the way. Not quite as harsh as others often paint her.

Aww, thank you. I had a lot of fun with Mimi, as well as trying to get into John's head. I figured that Buddy Holly's death would be something he'd react to pretty strongly because Holly was his idol and all, but I wanted to go a bit deeper than that. I'm glad you liked it. :D

Aww, thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it. It was a bit strange not writing John as the hilarious, sarcastic comic relief, but I'm glad it worked out! <3

I’ve been WAITING for someone to write this!!!! I had the idea over the summer after I designed a ‘Buddy Holly’ tribute show AND a Beatles tribute show back to back! I almost put a call to the community to ask someone to do it, but I got cold feet. In shot luv YOU MADE MY DAY!!!! You made the connection and interplay of Johns thoughts on abandonment and loss so human, so beautiful and heartbreaking. It wasn’t drama, it was just true disaster (if that makes sense), And I love you for it!! Oh- and Pauls’ reaction on seeing his own hero (in many ways) snap- and that whole dynamic.

Thank you so much! It was really the randomest idea, but it was a plot bunny that just wouldn't let me go. >< I'm really glad you enjoyed!

(Also, I didn't get a chance to comment, but those drawings you posted the other day were wonderful! I especially liked the crazy!John ones, they looked really fascinating. I'm so jealous of how you work with anatomy and posing; everything is so lovely and smooth.)

Thank you! I figured Mimi had to be at least somewhat caring. I mean, she took in her nephew and raised him so his mum could go off and be crazy or whatever it was, so there had to be some nice bit in there. >< I'm really glad you liked it!
