Three Men in a Boat is fantastic, isn't it? Once you've read that, there's also Connie Willis' To Say Nothing of a Dog if you like time-travel and sci-fi.

I'm reading them backward. ;) I first read Connie Willis' To Say Nothing of the Dog a couple of years ago, soon after discovering her Doomsday Book, and have enjoyed it several times. I thought it was about time to read the "original," and am finding just as enjoyable, if not more enjoyable. I can't remember the last time a book made me laugh aloud on almost every page.

I hope you have a great time on your trip, and very much look forward to hearing about it on your return. :)
