I just wish I had taken the other one as well - which is a Pirate Parking - no ninjas.
Yes, we're off in just over a month, and I'm trying to find my winter wardrobe and figure out what will fit in a back-pack, and whether it's warm enough. We only had one day of frost this last winter, so I'm really not sure what to think about snow!
Very odd, but I read this entry and thought "ugh, I hate vertigo, I hope she feels better. Mine usually doesn't act up until the spring with allergies, I guess I have a reprieve until next year."
NO IDEA why I said this to myself. SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. I got up from lying down today, got out of bed, and almost fell on the floor. >:-(
I think I'm having sympathy pains. I have to say out of all my physical ailments, vertigo ranks #1 or #2 on the list of suckiness.
I'm sure curious - what prescription do you get for labyrinthitis? I didn't know if was similar to "treating" vertigo. They basically said they dont really know what causes vertigo and it has to go away on it's own. They gave me something to help with the dizziness though - it doesn't take it away but helps me to at least function for a couple of hours.
Ugh. I'm sorry to hear your vertigo has returned. I think I told you before how I was diagnosed with labyrinthitis; the doctor had me sit on the examining table with my legs out in front of me, look straight ahead, then all in one motion lie down flat and quickly turn my head to the side to see if my eyes would spin (and they did!) Before this definite diagnosis I had two different doctors prescribe Nasonex or Flonase to be use once a day along with regular OTC decongestants, both of which work for me, but it takes some time. Nasonex works better/faster, but my insurance doesn't cover it, so I use Flonase. It takes about a week of using it steadily before I see real improvement. There was another doctor (you know how it is when you go to Patient First; you might see a different doctor every time) who, when I went back to get a refill, told me Nasonex and Flonase are not what's usually prescribed for labyrinthitis; he gave me a prescription for Meclinzine, but once I got it home and read the label ("may cause dizziness") I thought it

somehow I missed this comment. I think I tried that thing you doctor made you do - my eyes didn't spin I don't think. I'll try it again, though

The doctor that definitively diagnosed my labyrinthitis said that meclizine is the first thing they prescribe for it - and Meniere's disease too, though I'm not sure what the difference it between the two.
Can't remember the last time I was on a swing or an elevator, but I can tell you that rocking chairs are trippy when my ears are messed up. I can rock just once or twice before I realize how dumb it is, but still feel like I'm still rocking an hour later.
We both should probably have a dizzy, spinny icon. ;)

I'd send you some summer, 'cos it's plenty hot here right now, but I'm afraid I'm going to need it.
