Oh oh oh!! I *love* the Saxon Chronicles! I've read all four. Not sure when #5 is due out. I've just started reading the first of his Warlord novels, The Winter Kind.

Mmmm, boiled frog. Sounds good enough to eat! Haha!

And I would definitely purchase fractally products from you. :)

I immediately sought out the timing of the next volume in The Saxon Chronicles after finishing the fourth. (Bernard Cornwell has a very nice, informative site; he maintains it himself and updates frequently.) Unfortunately, he has another novel in the works to be published first - Azincourt - and while it sounds like it will be very good, and I will definitely read it, it has nothing to do with Uhtred or Alfred. Looks like it's going to be a bit of a wait. That's Bebbanburg (aka Bamburgh Castle) in my icon, btw. :)

The Warlord series is the only one of his that I haven't reread (yet lol.) I should do that soon. (Oh, I say only one I haven't reread, but I haven't read any of his Sharpe series at all. I've been tempted, but it's really not my historical period of interest, and there are so very many of them.)

Let me know what you think of The Winter King? I enjoyed it immensely, but up until The Saxon Chronicles, I was sure The Grail Quest trilogy would always be my favorite Cornwell series.

I meant to thank you for this ... and I should also say, "Hold that thought," because after doing some research today and getting my laptop set up, it turns out it's going to take about 30 hours to render at print quality - each image! I'll be at it for weeks before I have a small collection to upload.
