Ha! There was quite a bit of "The Illusionist was better," "I saw them both and liked The Prestige better," debate on the forum I found. I'll have to reserve judgment until I've seen The Illusionist. I'm really looking forward to the release of "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell," though I wonder if it will be marked an "also-ran" in the minds of the public since so many magic movies have been made in recent years.
Thanks so much for the link. I'm off to go check it out and bookmark it for a thorough browse and listen. I'll be in touch, at some point - not sure when since I'm on a roll with my website photo galleries now. I'm looking forward to hearing what you've done, you multi-talented thing you. ;)
I've had a thorough listen and downloaded Arianna, Being The Feeling, Does the Sun Shine on Another World, Magic Dreamers Cafe and your Brandenburg Concerto #3. (Which reminds me that my Brandenberg Concerto disks have disappeared ... sigh.) Anyway, I'm not sure which I'll use, but I'm sure there's something here that will work nicely, and you'll be properly credited ... and if there's anything else you want me to know or do before I put this together and upload it somewhere (if I ever do actually get to that point), please let me know. Thank you so much (yet again.) :)
btw ... I uploaded the Vanessa Mae piece I was going to use so you can hear it. It's such an evocative piece to me. Around 1:50 is where I crank it up. ;)
I've been waiting to see The Prestige (primarily because I <3 Hugh Jackman) - I didn't manage to catch it at the flicks so I'll probably end up waiting until it gets aired on TV, since my downstairs DVD player is on the fritz >:-[
