I'm horribly jealous. It's a beautiful house owned by a very interesting and important figure (and for a few weekends a year, my commander and chief!).

Do you get to see any 'hidden rooms' or stores of material not on show?

I've had to help re-install his paintings to the dining room and had to look after the security room whilst the 19th-century chandelier was re-installed to the dining room? My staff room used to be his staff's staff room? We have Sharpe books in the staff bookcase? :)
