I missed Lucy! But as you said, I wasn't looking for someone aged up in that case. I thought that seem more templatey than Jennifer (she's not hugely altered, but altered a little on most features).
I agree 100% on facial hair. Most of the more elaborate styles seem to have been designed with changing/creating facial features in mind (in rl, I mean.
The only difference between Marsha and Ophelia is that Phi has thinner eyebrows, but that would be nearly impossible to see here, as they have none. I think that template looks quite different on a male, with the craggy jawline. Unless you'd been studying them in CAS/Bodyshop or have been breeding those sims, I doubt many would spot that Ophelia and John Mole were based on the same face.
I'd always thought of Jennifer as a boring face 2 who looks too much as Bella, but she turned out to be just different enough that I threw her out of the game.
I was completely unfamiliar with that last template until I started using Mr. Big for my story. One day I took him into bodyshop to experiment and suddenly...eek, Circe!
So why do you think the Tricous/Rainelle have big eyes?
Oh, it's not really a very exciting theory. I think they've been designed with their appearance as ghosts in mind, and the big eyes are more frightened/menacing looking, or just easy to see in general on a ghost.
I have always thought this about Rainelle especially, because she died by fright (from moving into a very haunted house, I assume, based on the furniture there when you first load up the lot). Rainelle's face looks to me like a permanent expression of terror/unhappiness. Good qualities for a ghost haunting because she was frightened to death.
The lack of originality in making Cassandra and Alex's faces really annoys me :/ All they had to do was hit 'make baby' in CAS with Morty and Bella and ta da, unique babies everytime! Worst thing is, they're big characters too, not NPCs or townies, whose similarity to others characters might go amiss.
Yeah and it's just an odd choice to have Cassandra look so much like the maid who's having an affair with her fiance and best friend's husband. When people use defaults with a lighter S3 and they take off Cass's glasses and let her hair down, sometimes I mix them up.
Do you think that maybe the reason Cassandra and Alex look so generic is because Bella was slumming it with some townies... (perhaps Goopy needs an alibi).
This has finally made me see the difference between the two Bella Goths. I always thought people were overstating it before, but they really are very different.
The most easily recognized for me were Rainelle Neengia, Ajay Loner, Titania Summerdream and Lola/Chloe Singles. Rainelle and the Singles girls gave it away with their eyes. Ajay and Titania were outed by their jaw-lines.
Titania's got a seriously pointy chin! Sometimes she looks really weird to me and other times she looks weirdly more "real" than other sims do. I think it might be the smaller eyes make her look less cartoony.

I'd know Circe anywhere. :P
