Tabletop Shennanigans

I'm really enjoying my new pathfinder character. The last two characters I've played have been either bookish-introvert-quiet, or sullen-distrustful-quiet; Viva the gnome sorceress is outgoing and ridiculously cheerful, and it's much, much easier for me to play. Her grandfather is suffering senile magical dementia and occasionally turns himself into things. Once he was a paisley ottoman for over a week. The family put their feet up on him while they researched how to change him back. Can't let a good ottoman go to waste.

It's one of those things that came about entirely as part of the writing process. I decided to have her write a letter home, because we're using a wiki tool (Obsidian Portal) that has a section for 'Adventure Log' journal type entries, and she's just NOT a diary kind of person. I wanted something silly to hint that her family was silly, and what came out was "I hope grandpapa hasn't changed himself into anything again." Poof, suddenly there's random character background. :) Writing is awesome.

Thanks! I'm pretty proud of myself. It's such a weird medium to sculpt in -- the ear was easier than I expected, but getting the hair bobbles to stick on has been awful! I actually want one more layer on the big one.
