And beige is generally hideous. Although my absolute loathing is reserved for the very special close relative, magnolia. Over here you can buy giant tubs of magnolia, so every rented house is painted magnolia. Having lived in enough magnolia spaces (although our uni flat was so utterly smothered with posters/cards/giant floating papier-mâché fish that you couldn't really see the magnolia) at uni it's coming no-where near any houses we own. Ever.
