Okay, first some stuff.
Stuff #1: Sandbenders! You’ll be meeting mine in this chapter. Here’s a sketch of them. Yes, I know there are various anatomical flaws. This was like the third sketch I drew after a 3-year period of not drawing anything at all

Oh man...oh man. This is really, REALLY good.

You need to write more of this, like, yesterday.

Seriously, Kuei's characterization is just...wow. You've done so well so far at taking the little bit that that's shown and running with it; he's polite and soft-spoken and totally out of his element, but you didn't make him an utter buffoon, either. The balance is great. And your OCs are so real, too; they have goals and things and lives outside what you've shown, and it's fantastic.

Just...WRITE MORE. PLEASE. It's so rare that I come across a fic that just impresses me this much, and I know there's no context for that statement, so suffice it to say that you NEED to write more.

Aww, thanks! ^_^;;; I'm glad to hear you liked it so much. It's always good to know that other people enjoy reading my stuff as much as I enjoy writing it (and ye gods, was this chapter fun to write!). I also have a hard time finding fics that really impress me and stand out in my mind, so I think I have a pretty good idea of the context for your comment and I'm honored that mine is among them!

And don't worry, I'm hard at work on the next chapter! Unfortunately this will probably be a slow-updating fic. My life is pretty crazy right now since I'm graduating from college in June (I even have to skip my weekly RPG campaign tonight to work on an assignment).My beta's pretty busy too. But it will get updated whenever I can! :)
