Dammit. First read that as the much more fun "smart party dress". ^_^
So, how's it been going? As I recall, the significance of Christmas Eve and Day are rather different to in the UK, though I might be thinking of Germany. (For me, it's all more of a general thing, involving being with family and enjoying a good feast or two. Just a pagan hare, I suppose =:)

As with everything else, it's been mostly fine, apart from the lack of snow and the resulting Christmas-spirit deficit. But Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve and of course Christmas Eve dinner and carols helped amend that. And the ever-present opłatek, one of the most Polish customs out there, a must-do before Christmas Eve dinner :D
It is great to be seeing my family and friends. Christmas is hardly Christmas for me without that. And the food is...bliss, but nothing like the dishes usually served for Christmas Day in Anglo-Saxon countries. If I'm ever spending Christmas in the UK, it's going to be Polish-style <3
I've been a good croclet throughout the year too so Santa Reindeer brought lotsa useful gifties for when I move in to the new place in Liverpool with mah man. Plates and crocodile kitchen gloves to name a few :P
