Sounds like the decision is only getting tougher to make.
I'm glad that you're going to go in and see the x-rays for yourself. I hope it makes it easier.

As for being put under, I would recommend it, just because I loved it. I've hated every minute of every dentist operation that I ever had... but when I went to the oral surgeon, everything was sort of like a dream. They even give you a mask with laughing gas so that you don't care when they put in the needle for the anesthesia. One second I was counting down from 10, and the next I was waking up from the best nap of my life. They even gave me my first dose of pain meds while I was out of it.

so i totally didn't think about it when i got mine out, but mine hurt me as they were growing in. i think the two biggest reasons wisdom teeth are taken out is that 1. if they're impacted, when they grown in completely they can mess up your teeth and 2. they are a bitch to brush and floss so most people end up getting cavities in them a lot.

i loved having it done at an oral surgeon. i don't really mind being sick and in pain so much though, and it sucks to not be able to eat normal food for several days. when my husband had his out, he was so hungry for meat when his dad made bacon he ate some, even though it hurt so bad it made him cry.

i don't know. i didn't think getting mine out was a big deal.
