Challenge 57 - Triple Threat
Welcome to Challenge 57
I really liked kereia's challenge over at truebloodstills where she had everyone make a set of three icons. I want to do something similar here. So this challenge you will be making a set of three icons from the images I've provided. Each icon being colored differently.
Please read the rules carefully and if you have any questions please ask me before you start making your icons. I hate asking people to do them over. :)
So one of your icons must be black and white and the other two can be a monochromatic version of one color or you may use two separate colors.
You may use grayscale textures or textures that match the colors in your icons. I've provided a few textures in a download. You may use them or use your own.
Since we most likely won't be voting on text you may use any kind of text, tiny text brushes or text textures on your icons. All colored text must match the color of your icon. For instance if you make a peach monochromatic icon you may not use blue text on it, but darker or lighter shade of the peach in your icon or grayscale text is fine. If your icon is blue and peach you may use text that matches the blue or peach in your icon and/or grayscale text.
You've got five black and white images to play with and plenty of time to get your sets made since this challenge is going to last a little over a week. Have fun. :)

+ If you decide to use only one of the images for your set, each icon must have a different crop.
+ One of your icons must be black and white(grayscale)
+ Two of your icons must be monochromatic color or two colors or mix it up, one of each. (It's fine to have grayscale textures and/or text in your color icons)
+ The special category for this challenge is Best Cropped Set and for individual icons Best Black and White icon and Best Colored icon
+ You MAY use text, text textures or text brushes.
+ You may use brushes, gradients, textures and or any other photoediting techniques you like as long as they are grayscale or match the colors in your icons.
+ No Animation. This is a stillness community.
+ Your icons must meet LJ standards. Not more than 100x100 pixels and no more than 40k.
+ Your icon must be new for this challenge. Please DO NOT use old icons.
+ Please do not post your icon anywhere until voting is over. You will be disqualified.
+ Full community rules on the User Info page.

Sadly most of the links at icongradients are no good anymore and a lot of the stuff there is textures and not really gradients, so you will have to go elsewhere to look for real gradients if you need them. I recommend deviantART
Or you can learn to make your own. Or try a browser search.
