I miss the Movielife too. :( At least I get to see Brandon play on Thursday!! Not that John Nolan wasn't enough to get me to go to that show, but I'm really happy that he's playing as well. <-I'm not exactly sure that sentence makes sense, sorry.

And, dude.. that snail is adorable!! I want one! We have fresh water snails in one of the tanks in my marine bio classroom, and they aren't nearly as cool as that one.

i have about 4 friends in paris this year. it's a record for me. thus, the amount of friends you have (not nec. that you have had, but that you still have, in some cases after so long) seems like a whole fuckload.

i think i have 4 or 5 friends that i made on my own here in ithaca, and then the rest are just projections of that. their friends. their friends' friends. and we all have just gotten to a point where we are all good friends...that's usually how it seems to work.

Prepare is a program for international students at cornell. it's basically an orientation program.

Yesterday I was hanging out with my friend Ayesha who is my year and her friend (i guess i can call her my friend now) Nina who is a year behind us (and actually a year ahead in school, so she's two years younger than I am). Ayesha knows Nina because Ayesha, who is from India helped run Prepare this year and Nina, who is from Toronto, took part in it. They were talking about how Prepare was a great program and how all their really close friends seemed to be from Prepare and I laughed at them and told them "All my best friends are from Prepare too..."
