Jesus, THANK you! I thought that Henchgirl and I were the only ones to be underwhelmed by that trailer! I completely agree, with the added annoyance of being something who does not care for Joss Whedon's patented banter.

I'm fine with Whedon-banter, but the banter in this trailer wasn't even good banter -- or else the horrendous editing just hamstrung the comedic timing.

At least the trailer didn't tell the whole plot of the movie?
And there was no 'cool' voice over.

(I hated the pose-y thing Black Widow does after everybody else gets to show their special skill thing. Not promising at all for the character.)

It's annoying *especially* after the others got to show off. (She did get one action-y bit but it was way later and um, I have Scarlett issues anyways.)

Someone on my Tumblr did point out that she gets as much or more to do as Hawkeye, which is fair enough, I guess -- I didn't notice because I don't actually care about Hawkeye...
