blue leather lace-ups, in case you're wondering.

So, the bad news is that I spent a lot of money this week, between new shoes and a new haircut. The good news is, of course, that I have new shoes and a new haircut!

And now, pasted in from my NotePad ramblings of the time, thoughts on NCIS 7x03. ( Spoilers, obvy. )

To spam you with yet more of my ramblings: how much did I love this episode? Especially the sandwich scene, which was just fantastic (and really, McNozzo may possibly be the best pairing smush name ever) and the laptop catch. I rewound that bit a lot, before reminding myself that I was being ridiculous!

Will not kill you with yet more words. ;-)

The sandwich scene was awesome. Weatherly makes great sound effects -- I bet he would be a fantastic voice artist. And then saying, "It was delicious," with a complete poker face, I died laughing.

I hate most smush names, but McNozzo just ... rolls off the tongue.

*snerk* Yes, I will respond to your comment of doom which responds to my comment of doom at some point. I'm a little brained out right this second.

I tend to get most of my comments of doom written while I'm procrastinating at work, lol, I understand the brain-out feeling! ;-)

Smushed up names do appeal to my laziness, but sometimes they also make me feel a little nauseous.

Hope you're enjoying your new shoes and haircut!

McQueen. I actually had to rewind for that.

I love Gibbs' quiet, private smiles. Maybe more than Tony's flirting. Maybe.

I love it when Tony thinks something is funny and turns into, like, a little kid, and everyone thinks he's insane.

He's just way too fast for most people. And almost everything he does is like, some sort of invitation for people to come play with him.
(I do love it how Gibbs seems to get him most often. And then he smirks in secret. *hearts*)

The sandwich. Awesome.

Abby/Ziva? Y/Y?

Yes, that's such a great way of putting it! And it's interesting how Gibbs (who, while obviously very smart, is not a traditionally witty sort of person) groks him the most. Even though he pretends not to.

I've never really been a femmeslasher in general (and that's a meta for another time), but now that you mention it, hmm. I'm not sure. I can definitely see where you're coming from, at least.

Gibbs is quite possibly the best character ever made for tv.
The fact that he uses classical conditioning and reinforcement to make his team the best possible team ever...*awesome*
Even better, even though most of them are unaware of this, Tony isn't and it still works for him the best.
I love stuff like that.

Where have all femslashers gone? Seriously, I remember there being lots of it back in the day. (Not like *back*, back in the day, just ten years ago, something like that.)

Ahahaha ... I actually don't like Gibbs all that much, although that has as much to do with how the writers write him (gets a bit masturbatory, especially in season 6) as the character himself. I'm in the "DiNozzo: Accidentally-on-purpose creating the most complex TV character since 2003" camp.

Tony lets himself be conditioned. It's a little bizarre. Also cute. And mildly disturbing. Though when you think about it, it's kind of his ceding to military authority (he did go to military school) in his own ... special way.

Ten years ago I was writing my very first Harry Potter fanfiction (back when there were only few hundred fics -- boggles the mind), so I'm not sure what to tell you.
