Also not good: rye whiskey shots and Jaeger shots. I'm pretty sure throwing up twice and not being able to eat solid food until today was not worth the drunk I had on Saturday.

Gwethy bought me a shot of whiskey before DB went on and I reluctantly drank it. I nearly heaved right around the time that fight happened, but thankfully I got out of the crowd and took some deep breaths. Didn't mix with the beer too well. I guess our wild days are over.

I bought a shot, and Magno bought me a Jaeger shot, and then someone else...plus about six beers. Yesterday was awful.

In the Land of Long Fingernails: A Gravedigger in the Age of Aquarius by Charles Wilkins.
A memoir of a summer spent digging graves in Canada. It's hilarious and weird.

All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison.
Superman comes out as Clark Kent to Lois Lane, and it's like the best Superman series ever.

Chumble Spuzz by Ethan "Eef" Nicolle.
An incredibly violent, amazingly funny comic series. If you like freakish humor and insane violence, a la Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, I recommend it.

Andromeda Klein by Frank Portman.
A strange tale of a high school girl, the tarot, and her dead friend. It's nowhere near as good as Portman's first book, King Dork, but worth a flip through.
