Poor kitties

I posted this as a response to something over in tombrazleton's journal, and felt it bore repeating:

the_lucky_nun and I were on a walk last night, and ran into two amazingly friendly stray cats. They were obviously abandoned by someone moving, and were so skinny it was scary. We went into the gas station nearby and bought a can of food, opened it, and left it for them.

Well, maybe if you keep leaving food for them, the other one will show up and you'll get your two new kitties! If it had been me, Craig would have had to come home anc grab the air mattress for me so I could spend all night waiting for the other one to come back for food. How can anyone abandon a pet like that, it makes me sick.
