The thing I love about this episode is the way they must have been toying with the audience-- everyone knowing that Sarah Jane was leaving, but most people probably not knowing any details of it, in those pre-internet days. Just to think of all those people who must have been, "ZOMG, they're going to kill Sarah Jane!"

Rusty was not the first show-runner to have a bad case of TEH EVIL, methinks. :)

oh no. The show AND novel writers really had it in for Sarah and Barbara. (the two most beautiful companions, IMO).

About this pic, its kinda scary, but in that Tom Baker cuteness type of way. :P
