that is the strangest look the Juliani guy is giving her.
Maybe she's hypnotized him with her charm and beauty.

Well she certainly did that of course, but I don't remember him ever looking so bug-eyed!

Gosh, it really does look that, doesn't it? His face kind of freezes like that for a moment 'cos he's in mid-word, and she hears something moving and turns round...

And the "painted" look, I think, is 'cos the lighting is very strange: The foreground has a golden shhen while the background is muted and neutrally coloured. I suspect the desperate use of a reflector board at the end of day's shooting...

It's funny what you see, when you look at something old and fondly remembered through more experienced eyes. =:o}
