You're not necessarily the wrong sex at all; though few women tend to grab my attention sexually - I find more things about more men more sexy more frequently - I'm not actually uninterested in women. But I'm so good at putting up the barriers relationship-wise that it is, in practice, mostly only cute but aggressively oblivious people who make it though, and that's all been men so far.
It would be even more interesting to find the dating site where it fitted... Or a translation for "my inner teenager wants to read hurt/comfort cavefic".
But hmmm, yes, because I'm happy to say all that about myself to the world talking about literary preferences. It somehow feels a bit too... forthcoming? unguarded? to just describe ME as that person in a dating context. This is probably why I am a) fucked up and b) single, alas. But there you go. I will think about it some more.
