1) I just had to withstand an argument with my sister because I won't lend her my license to take to the Warren races. She's under eighteen, it's my license, and it's illegal. I really don't think I'm being unreasonable here. I don't care if she borrows her friends' old licenses (which she's going to do anyway, so what does it matter anyway), but ( Read more... )

Oh, I meant to tell you before, you were right about where the auditions were. They were being held up the stairs and to the far right. Of course, I was too nervous about the audition itself to go that way and check because there were Important Looking People at the top of the stairs and I didn't want them seeing me with my lost-and-confused face, so it took me a while to actually figure out, but you were right! :D

Also, re 1) this is for the drinking, not the driving, yes?

Definately not for the driving, more for the "They kick under eighteens out after the races end and I want to stay and have fun and a few drinks with my friends and randoms". She can drive perfectly legally, and had she wanted my license for that I probably would have laughed in disbelief.

Oh good! Such is the awesome of me and my lunch locations. XP

Ugh, as if nerves weren't bad enough on their own, it's so much worse when you have no idea where you are. I'd have helped you look (and tried to talk your confidence up a bit/soothe the jitters) had I not had that lecture to get to. How did it go in the end?

Such is your awesome! However, I think the only thing that would have soothed me was a song decision. We were supposed to bring a song of our own, or else just learn the piece we'd be warming up with. We had no idea what it would be so I really wanted a backup, but I couldn't think of anything that suited my range etc. I ended up pulling a song out of my arse at the last minute, but it would have been nice to have one properly prepared. Still, I think it went pretty well; they seemed pretty damn impressed. I don't know how many bass parts there are though... I may not actually get a Role; I may be relegated to chorus anyway.
