For this challenge I wanted to include both our artists and our writers.
Have you ever look at a piece of fan art and wondered what the story was behind it or read a fan-fic and wished there was a graphic to go with it? That's what this challenge is about.
This is a very different challenge than usual, so bear with me while I attempt to explain *G*
It will be a two part challenge and will be done in two rounds. The entries this week will not be screened and will be entered as a new post, using a tag to identify them. Because the stories & graphics will be not be screened, I encourage everyone to give comment/feedback on the entries. Also because these are not screened, you don't have to wait till the challenge is completed before posting on you own sites. You will have two weeks for each round. Round one will end on sept. 13th
Round One...
Part 1 - Write Us a Story
Simply put, write a s/j fan-fic. Content and length are up to you, but please make sure to add, Author, Title, Rating, Summary, ect.
You can enter up to 3 fan-fics.
Please make a new post for the entries, using the tag " challenge 115: fanfic "
Part 2 - Show Us a Story
Create a text-less graphic that tells a story. Using single caps, manips, collages, re-imaginings... whatever and however you want, as long as it has Sam and Jack in it and it conveys some sort of story ( representing a single moment, encompassing the whole thing or just somewhere in between). Size is also up to you, anything from icons to wallpaper.
You can enter up to 3 graphics.
Please make a new post for the entries, using the tag " challenge 115: graphic "
You can enter either part or both parts -up to 6 entries total.
There will be a vote after round 2 is completed.
If you wish to, you are welcome to get an early start on round 2. Just please don't enter anything for round 2 until it has officially begun. And if you do want to start on round 2 early, its going to go something like this...
Round two will begin when round one is completed and will be reversing the process. Writing stories to go with the submitted graphics & Making graphics to go with the submitted stories. You may choose any submitted story or graphic to work with, even if it's your own. You can enter up to 3 graphics & 3 stories.
LOL...I'm not too sure how well I explained that... so if you have any questions at all, feel free to ask :)
