It's... raining. And there's lightning and thunder. GLORIOUS DAY! *___________* I haven't seen rain in weeks! Ah, but I wish to scratch off the lightning and thunder, just because it's bad for Misa. :OO *pets computer*

Uhm, how long have I not posted here? Or checked my mail at that? Because I have just opened my e-mail, and there were 43 mind-boggling e-mail notifications in my inbox. Well, that included notifications from LJ, Tabulas and Multiply, but whoo! @@, Also, my flist is flyi~~~~iing! XDD;; Ahaha, I'll attend to them all eventually, so apologies for late replies and my upcoming spamming of your journal entries. ^^v ILU ALL PPLZ. \:D/

But that's not the reason why I posted tonight today. XD; I started reading Kafka on the Shore last Thursday. So far, so good. There was this catchphrase at the back cover that said, "An insistently metaphysical mind-bender." It lived up to its promise as early as the prologue, so yay for that! As I read along, the main character and his personality were slowly introduced. The descriptions were like this:

My fifteenth birthday is the ideal time to run away from home... During my first two years in junior high, I'd worked out, training myself for this day...

Whenever I had the time, I'd jog around the school grounds, swim, or go to the local gym. The young trainers there gave me free lessons,  showing me the best kind of stretching exercises and how to use the fitness machines to bulk up. They taught me which muscles you use every day and which ones can only be built up with machines, even the correct way to do a bench press. I'm pretty tall to begin with, and with all this exercise, I've developed pretty broad shoulders and pecs. Most strangers would take me for seventeen...

The school I'm going to is a private junior high for kids who are upper-class, or at least rich. It's the kind of school where, unless you really blow it, you're automatically promoted to the high school on the same campus....

Naturally, I have zero friends. I've built a wall around me, never letting anybody inside and trying not to venture outside myself. Who could like someone like that? They all keep an eye on me, from a distance. They might hate me, or even be afraid of me, but I'm just glad they didn't bother me.

When I read those parts, I literally went, "...Kaidoh, is that you? o__o" I don't know if it's just me though. Though the difference between them is that the main character didn't join any clubs, whereas Kaidoh is in the tennis club with Inui. XD Ah, speaking of Inui, he's like the young trainers mentioned in the story. 8D

Okay I'll shut the fangirling up. XDD;; It's bad enough that I see Kaidoh-sama and Inui-san everywhere, even in books. *bricks self* Have I mentioned that it's in a Japanese setting too, sooo... :P
More happy things! I was randomly drawing earlier, attempting to come up with a decent Inui. As what I've said before, I suck at drawing Inui. Either he'll turn out as a dorky hippie with spiky afro or he'd simply look excellently distorted. m(__)m But EARLIER, when I least expected, my drawing turned out alright! :D :D!! After that, I just had to add Kaidoh to complete the picture. <333

I'll add the finishing touches later and have it scanned tomorrow (hopefully)! It's nothing special, but my happiness must be shared~! ^___^ *loves on InuKai so much*

dorky stuff, fangirling, kafka on the shore, fan stuff
