[fandom] tumblr, how do you work it?

 I tried to make a tumblr to showcase Myst fan creativity (fanart, cosplay, created items, maybe even fanfic?) and put up three test posts to figure it out. Except I don't actually know what I'm doing. So uhm, here it is! Any tips on what to do besides "link to pictures here" and "link the tumblr elsewhere for people to look at"? Are there other

That's it, as far as I know... for me, Tumblr works very well for spamming fandom and random gifs, not so much for... anything else? I've just added you! There's this here: http://effyeahmystverse.tumblr.com/ but it's awaiting sumbissions atm.
I know that littlewritingmouse and missprincessjackie are the other two people watching the Myst tag and consistently favving Myst posts, but I don't know who they are!
