John had quite the busy schedule, running all over Fandom ensuring the Winchester's didn't have their hooks in Luke and checking up on brother Charles and his illicit love for everything John possessed. But there was always time to hit the beach for a clandestine meeting with a guy JOhn hardly knew.

"Hey! You wanna go somewhere warmer?" John asked, tugging his scarf tighter around his neck against the chill air. "I hear it's hot girl night at the bar."

"In a minute," Gavin said, forcing a bright smile at seeing John even if his insides twisted. "Where'd you get the scarf?"

Gavin had missed getting a scarf like that. He hated himself, hated himself for missing that detail.
