i'm late on the bandwagon here but you have every REASON to be pissed off and write that letter. you don't sound whiny at all; actually very reasonable and factual.
that sales guy sounded like he was lying to you all the way though about not having a key to get into the room and depts not being open.
thankfully you won't have to buy a car anytime soon but if you do, i don't know if there's a carmax where you are but that's where i bought my car from. no haggle price, paperwork done really quickly and they were really nice about everything.
i think this dealership is so focused on sales they've forgotten all about customer service. i'll be leaving negative reviews for them everywhere that i can, and i'll make sure none of my friends or family buys anything from them, ever.
