It's probably a moot point at this stage, but if you haven't pulled the remaining page and a half out (using stop-gaps such as block quotes and the like), you can increase your essay length by 10-20% by increasing (1) line spacing from 1 to 1.15 or 1.2, (2) paragraph spacing by 6 pt, and (3) character spacing by a few pts. Avoid margins, 'cause they're too obvious.
