So, I've been meaning to keep record of/show off my musical acquisitions on here for a while now, but keep putting it off. No longer! Here are the CD's I've added to my collection over the last couple of months, from least to most recent.

"If" is hands down the best Janet song EVAR.

That is all ♥

Awesome. It was mine for a long time, but I think it's a tie between "If" and "Rhythm Nation" for me overall. I was so mad "If" didn't make it onto that greatest hits collection!

Oooh, Mr. Gabriel's song "Digging in the Dirt" is an excellent song about the dark side in every human. You just reminded me that I still need to buy THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST (1988) soundtrack composed by Mr. Gabriel. I've only checked out the soundtrack from the library a couple of times and thought the songs on that disc was gorgeous.

I dig the song "Of These, Hope" from the soundtrack. It's pretty. You don't have to listen to the whole song. You can get the gist of it in the first minute.

Wow, I didn't know he composed that soundtrack and you're right: this is pretty. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if my library has it... if not, I may have to go looking for a copy to purchase myself. I've only heard it once, but I really liked the song he did on the Wall-e soundtrack, too.

P.S. LMAO at the icon. :D

I like the song "Down to Earth" that Peter did too! Argh, I still need to watch Wall-e. Everybody loves that movie so much.

Good to know my "Nice Penis" icon brought a :D to your face.

BTW, I remember you recommended that I should watch the series BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES (1992-1995) a long time ago. I just started watching the episodes from the first season last week, and I am impressed. The writing is smart and funny. I remember watching a couple of episodes from this show as a child.

I remember as a child laughing so hard at the Joker's expression at 0:32 in this video.

HA! That's a great episode! And this is the series that established Mark Hamill as one of the best voice actors EVER and THE voice of the animated Joker. No one else can touch him. Anyway, I'm glad you started watching and are enjoying it!

Haha right. And this doesn't include the box o' stuff the owner of the used media shop gave me several weeks ago, which contained somewhere between 75 and 100 CD's, or the Placebo you gave me, or the stuff other friends gave me to check out, or the several CD's I checked out from the local public library...

You have some good stuff there! :-) I like The Deftones song; I've only heard "Be Quiet & Drive" before besides this, but I like 'em both.

Glad you approve. : ) And glad you like the song. "Be Quiet & Drive" is one of my personal favorites as well. I particularly like this live acoustic version featuring Incubus and Adam Sandler, filmed as part of an MTV promotion of the old Adam Sandler film, Little Nicky...
