I just got out of the shower after my fifth Nonpoint concert. This one was at The Orbit Room in Grand Rapids, MI. As usual, they were amazing, but the show was not without its negative points

oh I hate it when mics aren't loud enough...so annoying. when I saw Flyleaf back in '07, Lacey's mic was turned down so low it was impossible to hear anything and nobody fixed it throughout the entire show. :\
btw, soooo jealous that you're going to see BRMC. They're on my list of bands to see...
Yeah, the didn't fix the mic through this entire show either. Very frustrating.
Haha yeah I'm pretty happy to be seeing BRMC. I'm sure they'll be getting around the entire country though, so maybe they'll come close enough for you to catch them too...
Oh wow, I don't think I can fully wrap my head around that. Cheering for the first band, but not the second, I mean. That's so different!
I don't know if you read or not or if you've even heard of them, but I went to see Tegan & Sara on Friday evening, as well as Holly Miranda and Steel Train. It was actually a really good show!
Trust me, it happened. The only thing that really bugged me about the people booing Cold is that they brough Nonpoint on this tour to begin with, so it's kind of like disrespecting a friend of someone you really like. Ah well.
Ugh, I haven't heard all that much from Tegan & Sara, but a friend turned me on to them a couple years ago and I'd kinda like to see them. I missed my first chance last summer, but the friend who turned me on to them didn't. Anyway, good stuff. I have not, however, heard of Holly Miranda or Steel Train.

Cold really is a good band, but it was not a good combination. Nonpoint and Cold just do not compliment each other, at least in that order. : /

That is kind of awful, though, and awkward. I wouldn't know what to do with myself. :|
