UUR 2 - Broken Hate Mechanism?

Why do people hate each other? What's the point? "He's an asshole" or "she's a conniving bitch" or "theirs is a terrible nation with no regard for life, Christianity or individual rights"... People just don't get to me like I see them get to other people. Not in the same way, at least ( Read more... )

I don't think there can ever be anything wrong with looking to understand rather than reject... I'm the same way. My personal safety is obviously paramount, but I don't think that theories or ideas on their own provoke imminent danger, they have to be escalated to a level of physicality.

What it really comes down to is that the more you know, the more you can predict, and the more you can predict, the less chance of you becoming shaken. Knowledge is power.

Yes, you can get hurt... but I'd rather get hurt by giving them a chance than closing them off indefinitely.
