Hey, how's everyone doing? I'm obviously still M.I.A. a lot, but I'm expecting that to change after January 15. That's the date I find out exactly what my sentence for the DUI will be. It will either be $2,500 in fines, six points on my license, a one month suspension followed by five more months of probation (only being allowed to drive to work

Well, it's not a pleasant way to celebrate the new year. Hopefully the sentencing takes the lesser route of two evils.

Of course I love hearing you talk about these guys more. And I actually saw them on Friday night too! They put on a great live show, that's for sure. :)

Oh, and they had a great band from Toronto open for them. Biblical. I think they maybe did five songs but that was only because their songs were all long. Long and awesome and I never wanted them to finish. lol

I'm still excited that I got to see them with Slash & Myles Kennedy, Sevendust and others at the Common Ground Festival in Lansing, Michigan this summer, but I would LOVE to see them headline. The Slash and Myles Kennedy shows would've been great to see with Monster Truck. Apparently Biblical has a bandcamp page where you can buy their EP - a digital version of it - for $3.00 American. It's either four or five songs including Oubliette. And they mentioned during the concert that they have an album coming out next year, either March or February.

You might end up with a "Blow and Go" in your car as well. My brother was picked up on DUI in March and it has been a huge headache. He only goes out once a week and drank too much that night (he only drank when he went out so once a week). He won't get that out of his car until June of next year. I guess that is what he gets for driving drunk.

I hope things get wrapped up for you and you can move on from it.

Yeah a friend of mine had one a couple years ago. A "Blow and Go" for a DUI, that is. But it was his second DUI I think, not that that makes it more likely I won't get stuck with one. That really wouldn't bother me in the slightest though, as I have no problem not drinking when driving and don't drink much either. Just made a stupid decision to agree to take a couple dudes home from a friend's housewarming party rather than crashing on the couch like I'd usually do in that situation -- a situation that doesn't occur often. Anyway, I'm looking forward to not having to make any more court appearances.

It was my brother's first and he got the "Blow and Go" to be able to still drive to work. So annoying and expensive.

Ugh, I didn't realize it was another expense. That would suck.

Thank you, but I don't consider 2013 to be a terrible year despite this crap. Still, definitely hoping for improvement. : )
