I used to have these two folders called "girls will be boys" and "boys will be girls" except because I am a moron I lost them but I will quote from the boys will be girls folder that I remember.

Mint na Bokura - about a twin boy who chases his sister to another school, only there's only room in the girls dormitory.

Princess Princess - it's set in a boys school.

The day of revolution - involves a boy who's changed into a girl and how he copes.

Shounen x cinderella - boy by day, superstar by night!

... And I had others.

OHOHOHOHOH Ai no Shintairiku!

IT'S SERIOUSLY FRICKING AWESOME. READ IT. - I uploaded it on fm not that long ago. ^.~

You know, in Huckleberry Finn, Huck dresses as a girl.

Great that you're watching it with somebody. :)
Also, Achilles dressed as a woman to avoid going to the Trojan war and hid in a harem, but then came Odyssey and threw swords and jewellery around. All the women went for the jewellery, but stupid and trained soldier Achilles picked up a sword, and was thus revealed (yes, I've been brushing up my mythology lately).

Are you? Watching it? Or has Hana Kimi eaten your soul?

Any special reason for mythology? Oh, and are you back home now from grandparents? I really hope to catch you on MSN sometime because I've lots of questions. Are you going to JOTI?

Well, I bought a book on Classic, Celtic and Norse mythology from the British Museum, and have been reading it :)

And yes, Hana Kimi has eaten my (and sister M's) soul, but my heart belongs to Supernatural, so of course I'm watching it. Duh.

I'm just wondering because it took us such a long time to get around to watching each episode, but I guess that's because of me :P

2. Couldn't agree more. There are exceptions but for the most part it just sounds odd. I have never head a person say that they have a lover.

4. No girls dressing as boys really is more socially acceptable. 50 years ago it was a huge deal if a girl wore trousers but we got past that stage, thankfully enough. Men (and by that I mean straight men) don't seem to be willing to do something about the remaining gender barriers. Maybe they don't think they have anything to gain. So most stories out there about crossdressing men are comedies. It's a shame.

I know, right? And especially when it's used as a "person I'm shagging now, maybe for the first time".

I thought my adversion to it is because the Finnish equivalent is retarded, but I don't know.

Yeah, I don't want the crossdressing to be sexual or comical or anything. I just want it to be Monstrous Regiment (by Pratchett) type but reversed. And that's so not the only place where I've seen that happening, girls dressing up as men because they want to do something only men can. Why wouldn't boys want to do the same D: Why couldn't they.

And I hate myself for the images that pop to my head when I think of a man in woman's clothing. *banishes images* I try to concentrate really hard to see it the way I want to, in this context. Makes me sad.
