Yes, so I'm finally joining up with NaNoWriMo for November. I've been wanting to do this for years, so what's been stopping me? That's purely a rhetorical question, unless of course you said "laziness." And in that case you'd be absolutely right. So, screw laziness! Even if I get a job, I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year

I signed up for NaNoWriMo last year, but didn't get very far. This year I've already agreed to meet with some locals and give it another shot. I have no idea what I'm going to write about at all...

On the other hand, if you have a bunch of free time at work, well, there's more time to work on your writing this year. I really want to go to some of my local NaNoWriMo meetings, but I'd have to work on paper. I still haven't joined the 21st century and gotten a laptop. Someday.

Yeah, working at work is already part of the plan. I'm meeting up with some locals tonight, but will miss the first day of writing while recovering from a Halloween party out of state.
