I always think back at that time you came out to visit. We decided it would be fun to go to Providence to see Waterfire have some drinks and listen to the music. Of course, it got much later than expected when we decided to leave and the boatmen were putting the fires out. While we were walking back to the car that homeless looking guy stepped out of the shadows as we walked by Lupo's. Remember he said "Your WALLET!" in that really gruff tone. Scared to death, we both looked at each other and ran. I remember thinking to myself 'Damn, Providence is usually so nice, why did something like this happen when I had a guest from out of town?' He really surprised us with how fast he was for an old guy, keeping up with us yelling "YOUR WALLET!" the whole time. When we finally got to the car I was fumbling with my keys as he staggered up, panting. Both of us were in awe, and I don't know about you, but I was a bit embarrassed when he held out his hand...with my wallet in it. "Your wallet," he said again, out of breath, "you dropped it."
