That is very pretty, kind of reminds me of the area south of where I am. Except I can't think of any areas that are eroded just like that.

That's the river for you. I think it's really carved a valley out of Red Deer over the millions of years. Or maybe just thousands. Eitherway, it's great parkland!

To me it looks like a combination of southeast washington (very green, rolling prairie land) and the central section of Washington, volcanic lava, with lots of erosion, but it's not green, it's brown with lots of sagebrush.

Great pics...all the green, and what a cool house.

Course even a moose carcass shelter on that land would be a castle.
