Mercaptan and Natural Gas

The History Channel is a wealth of info.

I was watching it yesterday at Lunch and discovered why they add the strong smell of Mercaptan to natural gas.

It seems obvious as to why we would want to make it smell, but back in 1937 it wasn't and it cost the lives of 130 children for us to learn this lesson.

They said that the building literally lift itself off the ground and then imploded when it hit back down. It could be heard 4 miles away.

That would make an interesting special effect.

Everything has quieted down lately. Even the hits to my website are down almost 50%. Did I miss something?
