Hey thanks! I do love elves - I've always wanted an elf costume. This may the beginning of one or two more. But not for a while :)

It is a shame you don't have a picture of your irish dress! And PS I don't see anything wrong with wanting to model btw, even if that wasn't your interest. It's great even if you don't share it on the internet, you have beautiful pictures that you can hang up around your home.

The ears I bought at a previous convention from a booth.

They were about 15 dollars. If you want a pair I can always get you some :)

I will probably just do original designs. I might take inspiration from art but I find it easier to make my own stuff than replicate. You know that one for sure!

And you are very photogenic and beautiful, it would be great if you had portraits made!

Thanks! And these were all of our shots - we don't have the skill level of Mab so I can't wait to see his.

Wigs are THE BOMB.

Yes! Wigs are THE BOMB! I own about 15, the last time I counted. Of course I would not be surprised if you own more than me. *envies your pretty blonde elf wig*

is it the costuming or something on your skin that's bringing out the poreclin effect?

unsure! probably the lighting and your mental state!

*ha!* I so copied you! I just didn't know it. Rivers and forests are great for the theme, we both had an awesome idea.

I love your shot, so dreamy....:)

I have some elven jewelry including Galadriel's headdress (I got it for my wedding), but I don't see myself as a elf. Hobbit maybe.

You on the other hand make a lovely elf. Nice pictures and setting. Was that down by the Sweetwater Creek by any chance? Place looks familiar, I think I have hike there before.

BTW, is that upcoming photoshoot you are hosting for any cosplayer or just modeling types? I would love some nice pictures of me in my pirate in nice setting. Just wondering.

It is open to all costumes and all people. But he does charge $25 per person. It is up to you :)

Thanks for the compliments, I think you could make an elf, you just need wigs and the right costume! Heck I'm too short to be an LOTR elf. I was just being a generic one.

You'd probably make a cute hobbit too! Curly wig and and a renaissance type outfit. :D

If you want a good location for your pirate, wait until we do the savanah shoot.

Oh, the costume is not the problem, I am just not the right "type". Elves are suppose to be beautiful and young (they don't age after all). I am neither - attractive yes, beautiful no. I costume according to 3 rules, - does it suit my age, body type and personality. That way I don't end up looking like a fool and find myself a joke on somebody website or LJ (I hope). I admire it, I have pride - maybe too much pride.

BTW elves are not that tall. They are suppose to be about the size of an average human - in fact a little shorter. The movies may have used tall actors, but the books said Elves were not that tall. In fact you are probably about right.

Savannah maybe right for the pirate. I could take pictures down by the ocean. Yes, I know about his fee - no problem. It is cheaper than alot of photographers out there.
