It's worthwhile to note that he's never seen any of the Aliens movies...yet.
He did attempt to watch Jaws, and decided it was too scary. To prevent nightmares, we found pictures of Bruce the mechanical shark online, and proved to his satisfaction that it was, in fact, a toy shark.
He thoroughly enjoys the Jaws special episode of Mythbusters, which came in the Shark Week package that we got him for the holidays. They're both going to *love* Mythbusters when they're older.
My nephew is getting the monster bowling set from us since he's at that perfect age - turning everything into funny monsters.
I envy you in one way (the freedom to raise your kids with this kind of imagination and creativity), but not in another (I would really not want to raise kids in this economy)
