[Video/Action]"Hey, let's hear it once more for the groom and his lovely bride, huh?" There is applause from all around the room, and he claps it up a little bit too. "Now remember, folks, the night is still young, so we're gonna play a nice couples' song for you all, and then I'll be taking requests ( Read more... )

All the fuss everyone's been throwing on the Network and it comes down to this: too-sweet cake and Demyx plucking out cliches on a sitar. Not for the first time, Roxas checks for a watch he doesn't actually own and wonders how many points he'd lose for discreetly climbing out the window in the middle of the reception. He's never liked the social things, after all.

But he does owe it to stay, doesn't he?

Absently, Roxas leans an elbow on the table, tuning the music out. A few hours down, several more to go. And only one overplayed song's tempo to keep the time.

For all that it's been a great deal of work and quite a trial managing everything, everything's managed to work out well enough. Marluxia has, quite understandably, borne more of the brunt of the work but he hasn't been without his share of work as well. That it's managed to go off quite well thus far? He's considering it either a minor miracle or tribute to the work that went into it.

He's not going to complain though. It's not the occasion for it, after all.

I should have imagined.... but I admit I expected something less... modern. Like a pipe organ.

"Pipe organ?" He gave this some thought. "I guess it's appropriate for the church, but at weddings you want a little kick to the music. And hey, strings can be very classy."
