Jack tells me he likes Lada Gaga (I can't say I've even heard one of her songs). It's times like that it hits you - my kids have a 24 year old stepmother.

Or WILL if I ever manage to actually get divorced.

What does bluffin with my muffin mean??

Well, I can see where a kid would like them... they're mostly nonsense noises against a beat. I'd assume that they were all aimed at the 4-12 age range if most of them didn't appear to be about clubbing and sex.

It has been explained to me that the phrase in question (and in fact the whole song) is regarding a woman who sleeps with a man while wishing she was instead sleeping with another woman. So, like, the female version of being on the downlow.

I can't personally validate this interpretation, because I thought it was about playing poker over breakfast. Literalness for the lose!

Oh, hell -- where to start on this one? I have a CD/on my ITouch: NKOTB, Joey Lawrence, Debbie Gibson, and Mandy Moore.

I'm not especially ashamed of any of these, but folks would think I'm crazy-ish for them.

i am clueless so didn't know which songs were lady gaga until the glee episode "theatrically" (which is in part an ode to lady gaga). but then i was pretty hooked on "poker face" as well as "bad romance". the poker face on glee is more in the acoustic style, so when i sing it in my head it goes back and forth btwn the acoustic and the... not acoustic.

over the summer barbara, a drunken stranger and i were all singing the praises of lady gaga and iirc barbara used the phrase "ain't nothin wrong w lady gaga." so to you i say "what she said."
